An Unforgettable Egyptian Wedding

Intessar and Ramez’s wedding is truly a day I wish I could relive over and over again. The energy of the day from start to finish was absolutely top tier.

We started at the Journeyman Hotel in Milwaukee for their getting ready photos and first look and then we were off moved to the stunning wedding venue at Discovery World overlooking the lake.

After their ceremony, family and friends all gathered at the entrance of discovery world to start the Zaffa parade for the couple (essentially a grand entrance). As the couple entered through the doors, the hall was filled with singing, drums, bagpipes and horns from the musicians and the parade began. All the way down the hall people were clapping, singing and dancing with the couple. It was truly extraordinary. You could feel the excitement, the energy and the love.

Famous singers from Egypt and belly dancers performed for their reception along with fireworks following their cake cutting on the balcony! The dancing, singing and partying was nonstop and continued well after my part of the night concluded.
