One of my biggest wedding dreams came true and I have Emma & Nick to thank for that. We first met at Emma’s cousin’s wedding and Nick was the photographer there! We chatted for a bit there and a couple years later they got engaged and chose me to be their photographer! When they told me it was going to be a destination wedding in Mexico I honestly thought I was being pranked. No way could I be so lucky to capture this gorgeous couple on a beach in MEXICO.

Well, turns out that was exactly the case (I was 1000% internally screaming from excitement), dusted off my passport and joined them at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort.

Since they live in Tennessee and I’m in Wisconsin, we were not able to get an engagement session in before the wedding. But, since they had me fly out a couple days early we had a couples session at the resort! Family and friends flew in around the same time so we all got together for a party and dinner the night before the wedding.

The day of the wedding was nothing short of perfection. Bright, sunny, tropical and so many smiles and joyful tears.
